  I work as a trainee surgeon in the NHS, and I feel this has given me a somewhat skeptical view of alternative therapies such as acupuncture. I had been suffering from chronic fatigue due to the rigors of my work which would not abate with any amount of rest, even at weekends. In addition to this I have suffered with the most dreadful migraines every couple of months, which left me needing a lie down in a dark, quiet room until they resolved themselves. These were not responsive to any of the analgesia I had tried, and I felt as though these and my fatigue were problems I was just going to have to deal with.
  
  I tried balance acupuncture following a recommendation, never expecting it to work coming from a very skeptical scientific background. However, within 5 minutes of the needles going in for my first session (which, coincidentally coincided with a migraine), my migraine was well and truly treated. My vision returned to normal, the nausea had gone and I was totally pain free. In addition to this following one session I felt like my fatigue had also been lifted, leaving me with more energy and allowing me to function much better.
  
  Tim is a professional, and knowledgeable practitioner of acupuncture who also has an excellent bedside manner and takes the time to listen to your problems. I have always felt at ease with him, and I know I'm in the hands of someone who knows what he is doing. I have no idea how acupuncture works, but I know it works for me and I wouldn't want to be treated anywhere except Balance Acupuncture. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone. A superb service.
